Ha1ve you ever heard of WAWA? They are a gas station/convenience store. 3 were just built in our area. We went to check one of them out. Come along inside!
Their menu is enormous! Many kinds of soups, subs, side dishes, quesadillas, and bowl meals. Many think their sandwiches are better than Subway.
A row of computers; likely to read the menu and place an order.
Lots of coffee pots full of different flavored coffees.
Bags of coffee if you want to take some home and brew it yourself.
Their own brand ice-creams.
Soft pretzels of many different sizes; some as big as your head!
And different flavors of Conchas, which are a Mexican sweetbread. I had never seen any, so bought a couple flavors. They were good!
And so ends our short tour. Their name comes from the site of the company's first milk plant in the Wawa, Pennsylvania area. The name of the town Wawa is in turn derived from the Ojibwe word we'we, meaning snow goose, despite the company's image of a Canada goose.

“Where the wild goose leads, comfort follows—Wawa is the roadside hug you
didn’t know you needed.”
“In formation, geese turn the sky into choreography—proof that even wild hearts move better in sync.”

Hi Ginny, love the geese quote. I had never heard of Wawa until your post here.
Great photos.
Looks like they have just about everything. It reminds me of the Sheetz stores we have here. There are Wawa's in Pa but not near me. I looked it up and it said that it was due to a longstanding informal division between Sheetz and Wawa.
We don't have any Wawa stores down here in Georgia, but I had heard about them as being famous for their coffee. I enjoyed the tour, Ginny. Thanks!
I've never heard of this chain. It looks like a great place to stop!
I've never heard of this chain either. When I saw the title of the post, I thought you were crying about something! lol Sure has a lot of things.
