We saw the first signs of a change in the weather today! Out in the yard, does this all look like just a bunch of dead grass and twigs?
Maybe take a closer look.
Maybe even closer.
Do you see them? Little tiny blue flowers. They are smaller than your pinkie fingernail.
They are called Persian Speedwell. Considered to be a weed. But I love them. Tiny blue buds of cheer.
Persian
speedwell: tiny blue lanterns lighting up the lawn.
Blink
and you’ll miss it; pause and you’ll fall in love.

Ginny, I love the quote and how lovely to see these flowers 💐 😍 💕
Beauty is everywhere, you need to notice and you have beautifully captured it. Thank you for sharing! :)
we have tiny white flowers, in the grass, or where there should be grass. love the quote, it is so so true, most people do not see what we see because if you don't SEE with a camera lens, we miss things. I started in 2002 to SEE with the lens of a camera and never looked back. before camera I never saw bugs, or small things, now I do
Such a pretty little sign of spring. I get this is my yard too and I always think they're pretty
Look at that! It's a promise of things to come. Glad you shared.
The tiny but brave heralds of spring. Wonderful photos as always, Ginny!
Are you excited for spring? Those buds are so beautiful!
We get those little Signs of Spring in our grass too. I love them. They may be weeds but that kind of weed I don't mind.
Have a great day Ginny.

"Blink and you’ll miss it; pause and you’ll fall in love." What a great line! It touched my heart.
Oh...how sweet....it's all in the way we see things. I think the little blue and white flowers are so cute.
So nice to see those signs of spring. Still waiting for the snow to melt!!
So pretty. Again I am impressed with your creative eye!
Such a pretty scene. A work of art
I love that! We must not pause to miss these darling tiny blooms.
Those are a sight for sore eyes!
I love it... need that burst of spring around here, we are at the ugly stage of dirty snow, ice and slowly becoming mud season.
I never knew that's what they are called.
They are very pretty.
I haven't seen any signs of them yet in my courtyard though.
Those are the weeds I would love to have growing in my grass. They are so pretty! Love these signs of spring. Thanks for sharing them.
Ohhh, so pretty! Looking forward to seeing that here and snapping shots. Happy Weekend!
