Did you know that this spring they will be taking orders for the first flying car? They are called Air Cars, and will cost almost a million dollars. Here are a few of the actual cars
They can transform from car to plane in under 2 minutes. They can drive, take off vertically, and fly.
They run on gas, can run at 155 miles per hour, and have a range of 621 miles. The inventor is Stefan Klein. Thoughts?
“If my car could fly,
I’d finally understand what ‘taking the high road’ really means.”

It is attractive. I am just glad 😊 that I don't drive. LOL!!!
Well, I don't think I will be getting one. I wonder if you have to have some kind of pilots license? and what will this do for air trafficking. things to think about I suppose.
That's just great, you can bet they'll be weaponized by the government to spy on us and get rid of civil liberties.
Well like it or not it's obviously made for people with money. I think my dad would have loved this since flying was something he loved. I would assume anyone who gets one of these would need a pilots license as well as a drivers license.
Reminds me of the Jetsons...(animated American TV series from the 1960s) Seems to suggest a lot of complications in the real world, though. Like air traffic rules and such!!
Even if I could afford it, no, thank you. Too dangerous! Blessings, Ginny!
Wow! I had not heard of these. I couldn't afford one, but I'd be scared of driving one. How do they plan to keep them from colliding in the sky?
Oh I love it but it would have to come down considerably in cost for people to afford them and even if we could I don't see us owning one but a good option for those who commute to the city. It is interesting though, the logistics of it all - I'm wondering if they have already been approved by the FAA??? Interesting
I am just wondering where they land? This is the first I heard about it. Ginny. Even if I was wealthy, no thank you for me. ; )
I love ❤️ your cloud background, Ginny.
Another science fiction that is now science fact. Thanks for the info Ginny and love the quote.
Not my cup of tea...pretty costly too.
I just can't imagine...it will be a lot lie the Jetsons.

Oh my - what is next! wow
I think it's a bit crazy. Just what we need flying cars!!!
Wow! Sounds a little dangerous though.
I love to fly, but a flying car? Nah, that's not for me. I'm visiting from Afternoon Coffee and Evening Tea. Happy weekend! Laura
The only driving I do now is the block or so to the grocery store. A flying car would not make that easier. 😊
Remember the Jetsons?
Innovations like this always stir both excitement and caution. The convenience is appealing, but I imagine safety, regulations, and training will be just as important as the technology itself.
