Grocery Flowers

Our grocery store has a lovely bunch of spring flowers for sale. Here are just a few.

This color was deep and unusual.

These looked like some kind of preserved flowers in globes.

These had a cherry on top!
Do you ever buy flowers at the grocery store?

To fully absorb the sun's power, flowers must be open and vulnerable.

So pretty! We just bought some yesterday for our secretary at church. They were packaged so cute in a little brown bag that was made to stand up like a vase and it said smile on it. :)

You did great creating you header...so pretty and so is the background.. I actually purchased the flowers for Mylee's prom bouquet at our local grocery store. They are so much cheaper at the stores. I also like to occasionally pick up a bunch of the flowers and enjoy them in our home for as long as they last...Just brings joy into the home when you have fresh flowers..

Such gorgeous blooms, Ginny! Yes, we will sometimes buy flowers at our local grocery store, especially if there is a sale or a special occasion.

I haven't been to my supermarket in person in over six months now, but yes I do sometimes buy flowers/plants there, also geraniums for my balcony in summer. One can't order flowers with the online home deliveries though.

I will have to look and see if they do that at any of our grocery stores? I like them and they are so unusual.

That's quite an array! I have never seen cherries on top of what looks to me like coleus! I have bought grocery store flowers not once but twice just in the last few weeks. We were headed to Greenville SC for Allissa's 18th birthday party and we stopped in to get her a balloon, and I also grabbed an adorable potted cactus for my sister, who has just had a surgery and we were going to drop by to see her before leaving Greenville. She loved the little cactus. It was in a pink pot. Then only last Saturday we were going to a picnic and I was going to see a friend there who has just started chemo. So back to the Kroger we went and I was hoping to get her one of those cactuses like I got for my sister, but they were all gone. So I got her a bouquet and it was so lovely and she seemed to really enjoy it! xoxo

They all look so pretty, except the ones with a cherry on top seem a little strange.
