Three Wheels, Infinite Mischief.

Driving through the parking lot of Lowes in the dark, I had to take a second look. It was very dark, so pics are blurry.

WHAT? Once the driver went into Lowes, I was free to drive around it and take photos.

It had only ONE wheel in the back!

Fortunately, the name was written across it.

It was a Polaris Slingshot. It’s not a car, and  it’s not a motorcycle.

It has no roofdoors, or side windows. The open interior is waterproof and can be hosed down and drained because it has drain holes in the floor.

It is classified as an autocycle in 49 states. In certain places, the driver and passenger must wear motorcycle helmets.

“It’s basically a motorcycle that got tired of balancing.”

I am not a fan of motorcycles but this seems safer.

Ginny, I have a post scheduled tomorrow like this. Same type of vehicle, different color. Hubby saw it at our local shopping area. What a coincidence! I will show him your photos.

That looks really cool. I bet it's fun to ride around in too.

I just saw three of these slingshots in an Aldi parking lot the other day, Ginny, and that's the first time I've seen any. Yours makes the fourth!
