Mints for Cats

Driving in front of Target the other day, I spotted this row of plants. I thought it may be Lavender, but I was wrong. It is called CATMINT!

It smells like lavender with a hint of mint. It is related to both catnip and mint. It got it's name because it is related to the mint family, and cats love it. I had never heard of it before!

Catmint is the polite cousin. Catnip is the wild one.

I'm going to see if I can find some catmint to plant here at home! It's beautiful! And now that I left the cats out during the day - I'm sure they will love it!
