The Cars Of Christmas

Safe travels to all who are leaving for the holidays!

“I’m sending my Angel ahead of you to guard you in your travels, to lead you to the place that I’ve prepared.”

Exodus 23

The Birthday Boy!

This evening, we celebrated our son Mike's 47th birthday. Here he is opening his present.

He likes cheesecake better than cake, so we had a multi flavored one.

Here are the little ones waiting for their slice. They are adorable, don't you think?

Anne Marie was serving.

And also being goofy with her dad.

And here are Mike and I. Phil took this picture.

“Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.”

Following Jesus

We were driving along behind this pickup truck. And we saw Jesus in the back seat!

Good thing I had my camera, or no one would have believed me.

He stopped by the garden center; perhaps to buy a fig tree?

Following the light in every sense of the word!

“Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 8

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Trees

I love this animal one!

The Cross Tree

Patriotic tree honoring our troops.

Tree of  owls!

This woman is wearing her tree!

And finally, the peacock trees!

“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.”

Isaiah 55

Creatures Of The Light

Here are a few of the animal Christmas lights around town. Pigs are always a big thing. Well, pigs ARE in the bible.

There are quite a few elephants this year.

And here we have an elephant, owl, and seal.

Winnie The Pooh & Tigger.

I have seen several dachshunds.

I'm not sure if Minions are creatures or people.. anyway, here is one parachuting into a yard.

I LOVE this fox, but it came out blurry.

And last but not least, a giant peacock!

“Surely kindness to people is as legal as kindness to animals!”

Matthew 12

On Our Way Home

I  took these pictures this evening as we drove over Afton Mountain.

Once we got over the mountain and into the valley, the sky had changed drastically! We quickly turned into the nearest place we could find, a factory. From there I took these pictures...look how different!

“Trust me. There is plenty of room for you in my Father’s home. If that weren’t so, would I have told you that I’m on my way to get a room ready for you?

John 14

The Heart Of The Matter

When I first heard Phil's diagnosis of severe coronary disease, I got so upset that my own heart went out of rhythm!! I was told to get an E.K.G., which showed this. The doctor circled the abnormal sections.

But after a few days, as the shock wore off, my heart began to normalize. That was when I had the post office incident. So in a week, I was in the E.R., three emergency clinic visits, and Phil had his catherazation!

Phil's catherazation went well! He has a 50% blockage in one artery, not severe enough for a stent. We are so thankful to God, and to YOU for your prayers and warm wishes! Here is the picture the doctor drew of Phil's heart and where the blockage is.

“People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
