Marching On
Though it has been cloudy, I managed some shots of the full March moon. March's full moon is called the full worm moon. Nuts to that; I like it's other name better: The full crow moon.

Missing
Yes, I have been missing from blogland for the last day. My computer had to go back in the shop. I have it back now and will be posting soon. They were not able to find why it goes to a blue screen and then reboots. They made a few changes, so let's hope that fixes it.

Cats Only!
Welcome to a local gas station on a main highway. We are here to get gas.
But lets not focus on the gas pumps now. Let's take a look over at the side to the right of this truck.
There are plenty of strays around, and this is a homemade shelter for them. It has been here for quite awhile.
Cats Only! Cats is crossed out and replaced by Cops. Don't know why. But it made me wonder why they had to warn that this is only for cats. Have homeless people been using it? A sad thought, but that is the first thing that came to mind. What do you think? Maybe we will ask them next time we stop there.
Someone even prettied it up with flowers! Fake ones, as real poinsettias are poisonous to cats.
The homeless cat came to live with
him. He would watch her enchanting tricks and listen to her vast collection of
songs. At night in bed she hugged his feet. "Now I am a completely happy
man!"

Finally!
Finally, Daylight Savings Time is here; a return of the light!! We lose an hour of time, but it is well worth it to me. How many of you look forward to it, too?
“Sometimes I feel that life is
passing me by, not slowly either, but with ropes of steam and spark-spattered
wheels and a hoarse roar of power or terror. It's passing, yet I'm the one who's
doing all the moving. I'm not the station, I'm not the stop: I'm the train. I'm
the train.”

What I Bought
When I did my post on the new Gordman's, several of you asked what I bought. So here it is. I bought two things. This little dish was under $5.00.
And these strawberry merangues, which are only about 12 calories each.
Good purchases, I think. But the same cannot be said for my shopping trip in Home Goods yesterday. I was so tempted by these pretzels that I bought a bag. They are cotton candy pretzels rolled in flavored sugar. I eat pretzels as a low calorie snack. But in the car when I read the bag, I could hardly believe my eyes. ONE pretzel is about 250 calories!! I don't know if I will be eating them.
I haven't reported my missing credit
card to the police because whoever stole it is spending less than my
wife.

Cat Food
Our local Goodwill feeds the stray cats in their area. In the back of the building they have this food and water bowl for them. They had just finished filling it when look who showed up! NOT a cat. I think he wants a bit of revenge.

Let's Go Shopping!
Living in a small town, it is really exciting when a new store opens. And Gordman's has just opened. They are a chain, but I had never heard of them. So come with me today as I check them out for the first time. Of course they had lots of clothes, but here are the more unusual and cute items.
This is their Easter display in the front.
So many fairy houses!
Decorating with mini bikes is a big trend.
“Buying something on sale is a very
special feeling. In fact, the less I pay for something, the more it is
worth to me. I have a dress that I paid so little for that I am afraid to
wear it. I could spill something on it, and then how would I replace it
for that amount of money?”
