A Round And A Round

I absolutely LOVE round shapes. My favorite store has round balls in front.
My vacuum cleaner has a big round ball in it.
My bed has round knobs on it.
Even my CHURCH is round. Because then the devil can't corner us!
Of course there's my round camera lens, which I take everywhere.
And I LOVED this huge round leaf.
I even found a rock with a big round hole in it.
Now here is the round thing I love the most.
And here is the round thing I hate the most.

If you search the world for happiness, you may find it in the end, for the world is round and will lead you back to your door. ~Robert Brault

“God sits high above the round ball of earth. The people look like mere ants. He stretches out the skies like a canvas— yes, like a tent canvas to live under. He ignores what all the princes say and do. The rulers of the earth count for nothing. Princes and rulers don’t amount to much.”
Isaiah 40

This has got to be the most well rounded post you ever did :) I love this. I like the reason for your church being round and that quote by Robert Brault is awesome

Round and round and round we go...where it stops nobody knows. Okay, I got that off my chest, now on to a comment. LOVE the same round you do most. How sweet a girl. You and I both use NIKON or is that NOKIN [the mirror speaks!]

What a fun post.

Isaiah 40 talks about the coming of our Lord. I see no verse there that talks about ants, canvas or princes.

I do like all your round images.

I love round, too! Round shap is simply cute :-) Looks like we have the same vacuum. And we share the hate for that thing in the last photo. LOL!
Thank you for your comment on Goro's gotcha day. He was about 6 months old when he was rescued and came to our home. He was a tiny little kitten and now is a huge cat :-)

The header of your blog took me by surprise. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE is our college motto. In Latin it reads like this- LUCEAT LUX VESTRA.

Excellent photos and a very interesting write up. The quotes are thought provoking. Best wishes.

Wow. You really DO like round things. I like the round bed knobs. I would always be touching them as I go by. Your church is round. Is that a traditional design. And of course, dear Anna peeking through the round hole.

What a wonderful collection of round objects. You always find the most interesting things Ginny My favorite is the same as yours, Ella is adorable peeking through the round hole.

PS Andy had to do a paper a couple weeks ago about what the world would be like without circles - lol - I forgot to tell you that. sandie

I enjoyed this post...have you heard the song Times Like These by the Foo Fighters? There are a couple lines in it that says
I'm a road that drives away and follows you back home...

ps....if you have not heard Times Like These, and look it up, look for the acoustic version. It is my favorite....
