The Walker

I'm not going to vacuum until Sears makes one you can ride on. ~Roseanne Barr

My foot is still in the process of healing. One doctor says it will not get better, the other doctor says it will. So outside, it is the wheelchair. Inside, it has been the walker. But it seems I have to fight to get the walker away from the cats! They have chosen it as their favorite seat and mode of transport. When I wheel it, I usually have a cat on it enjoying the ride! They love sitting on it and also being given rides. Who knew! I feel like a new mommy giving her babies stroller rides!

“…God’s holy day as a celebration, If you honor it by refusing ‘business as usual,’ making money, running here and there— Then you’ll be free to enjoy God! Oh, I’ll make you ride high and soar above it all. I’ll make you feast on the inheritance of your ancestor Jacob.” Yes! God says so!”

Your cats are so pretty Ginny. No cat I know can resist a chair seat and all the better that it moves and gives them a ride.

I side with the doctor who says it will get better. In the meantime, glad you can still get out and about.

I hope the other doctor is right and that your foot does get better. It's adorable that the cats are making the walker theirs too lol

I say go with what the second doctor says!! Looks like the cat loves a good ride as much as Anne Marie does.

Best,
Bonnie

Oh how cute! That seat must be very comfy and the ride must be fun :-) One of my kitties loves to ride the box. When he is in a box, I push and move the box around :-)
I hope your foot will get better.

Hi Ginny, I vote that your foot will heal up just fine in time. I'm no medical person but I do believe in being positive and trying one's best. Fun shots of the kitties. Have a wonderful day and know I pray for you.

I hope "the other" doctor turns out to be right. Must be troublesome. You should teach the cats to give you a ride instead of the other way round :)

My mother also has a walker and wheelchair. She doesn't use them often enough and falls. It is sometimes difficult to make a choice, what is the best for your body, even the doctors have diffenrent opinions. I believe the more you move, the better your muscles recover, gain strength. It all need to happen under full control, for this the walker helps.

Greetings,
Filip

I remember how my cat would take over something new in the house. Apparently, yours wants that soft cushion on your new walker chair, if that is what they are called. Nice photos by the way!

Hi Ginny, I am believing the doctor that says "yes" it is going to get better. After all you have many people praying for you :)
God bless you.
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

With that soft cushion on it the cats know where they have it good.
