Spring Celebration

Last night, our granddaughter Anne Marie had her Spring performance at her church and pre-school. The grandparents from both sides of the family were there to watch and cheer her on. All the kids sang several songs on stage, then we went to look at all the artwork they had made during the year. I'm showing my favorites here, her kite, leaf man, and spoon people. Then we all went out for ice-cream. It was a fine balmy evening, and we lingered past dark. The threesome is Phil, me, and Anne. Next is is a picture of our whole group that I asked someone to take. Just before we left, Anne put her bow in Phil's hair, silly grandpa!!

"Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation will commend your works to another...They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness." Psalm 145

Oh what fun, just looking at all those little smiling faces makes me smile. Anne Marie's artwork is great, I really like the one you used for your header. It looks like a crab made from her hand prints, so creative.

Wonderful pictures!!! Anne Marie gets more beautiful with every photo. What a great night that must have been. Phil is such a good sport. Only real men wear bows in their hair!

What a lovely evening...sounds like you three enjoyed each other's company. Those lady bugs on her kite look adorable...but not as adorable as she ;-)

Oh my goodness - what a nice time you had - her little dress is adorable - I don't think I will have any little pink things running around - mine are blue.

Your husband was a great sport.

Anne Marie is just precious and a great artist too.

Ohhhhhhhh.....so cute. Children are just a gift from God. And a nice gift. Most of the time. There must be an age limit on that.

I love and enjoy all children performing. I have attended several of my great grandsons and they are the best. Do you think we have two great minds working in the same direction. (The motorcycle guy)

I agree with Ruth, the joys of a grandchild. Your granddaughter is just precious. Her beautiful smile. I so love children of this age. Actually, I think Grampa looks splendid with his bow. These are beautiful photos of what the Lord intended life to be, family, love, honoring HIM. Thank you for sharing and blessings on your week.
