Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I don't understand why Cupid was chosen to represent Valentine's Day.  When I think about romance, the last thing on my mind is a short, chubby toddler coming at me with a weapon.

Happy Valentine's Day to all my blog Valentines!!! I hope you have a lovely day! The large bow and the flowers in the zebra pot I saw in a store. Everything else is mine. Well...WAS mine until I scarfed down these two donuts. Nothing like donuts to get me in a festive mood. I have been spending time with Ella, and will have my granddaughter Anne for the day on Valentines Day, so I will be showing you the special things we do!

“Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.”
Matthew 22

Hi Ginny, I just saw your comment on my blog. That is so funny that you and I picked the same quote. Great minds think alike!

I love all your Valentine's goodies. Those donuts do look delicious.

Happy Valentine's Day!

So true about cupid - I was trying to explain cupid to Pierce the other day, and he looked at me like I was crazy "So he shoots people with an arrow but it doesn't kill them?" LOL!

That doughnut sure looks good right about now!
