Clueless In Virginia

Usually I show you pictures and tell you something about them. But last week, we drove by a bush that I had never seen before. These red blooms were amazing, and very different.  I just KNOW that some of you can tell me what this bush is, because I do not have a clue!

“The experts of our day haven’t a clue about what this eternal plan is. If they had, they wouldn't have killed the Master of the God-designed life on a cross.”

...no matter the name, I like the beauty!!!

And, Ginny....I found this in my bird guide: Regarding the name nightjar [or more commonly, a nighthawk] ---"The common name 'nightjar' refers to the loud jarring call of the male, which can contain 1900 notes per minute."
