Ginny, They are so pretty. They look like cotton candy. I really do not know what these are. I don't think I have ever seen anything like them before.

Oh these are so pretty. I have seen the white ones but love the pink. They are magnolia pods. I have often seen them in my in- laws yard.

I have never seen these however I think it is the fruit of Magnolia grandiflora

I see from other comments that these are magnolia pods. I've never seen anything like them. They're amazing. They look so soft and fuzzy. Very cool

So pretty! So alien to me too. I love furry plants. Lambs ears are so great to touch I imagine these would be similar.

Magnolias, thank you for putting the blog text in black, not that yellow you often use. I can not read the light colors.

magnolia and i love them, number 4 is really pretty because it has fall color leaves in with it... they do look like pillows but in the header they also look like they might have mouths that can bite

Wow, they look fascinating! When I saw your header, I had no idea what they were. With all the photos, I still have no idea, but they sure look pretty! Furry and pink...they do make a nice pillow :-)

Wow, how gorgeous are those! We sure don't have any around here. My house plants are the boring, common type. :-) Can't wait to find out what they are.

God's designs in nature are truly amazing, aren't they? I don't know what it is, but it is very pretty and pillowy looking. I'm glad you found out the name of that beautiful flowering bush!

I meant to add to my above comment. You asked what that was behind the fence on my blog today. It's a small teepee. Have a nice Friday!
