Growing Old

The other day, while Anne Marie and her mom were having breakfast at Starbucks, her mom took this picture. Everyone on Facebook thought she looks so much older, like a teenager! Maybe, but I cannot be objective. What do you think?

Here we are together about a month ago. I made the picture in black & white because I like the way it looks.

Sooo...how many of you remember how old she REALLY is?

Yes I agree, she is a beautiful girl. I was thinking perhaps she might be ten years of age? Lovely photos, and I do like the one of the two of you in black and white.

Hi Ginny, OH --how I love that photo of you and your granddaughter.... By the way, how is the adoption going on the other two????

I remember when you first introduced Anne Marie to us... Time flies --so I will guess that she's about 7-8 now... BUT--maybe I'm wrong, since the years fly by....

Hugs,
Betsy

Maybe she looks older in that photo because of her face expression. She's got serene and beautiful smile :-)

I'm not sure as sometimes you've been showing old pictures in between newer ones, I lose track :) I think in the last b/w pictuer she looks like she could be a teen, but I don't think she is, yet. Hard to tell with the pre-teen years though, some grow up much faster than others, and they all usually seem to try to look older than they are!

WEll, 8 was my first thought, but as someone else said, the time flies by! I do not think she looks like a teenage...but I think she is a pretty girl.

(the more I think about it, wondering if maybe she is just 7--I cannot remember the age difference between her age and Lorelei's age.)

It's been fun watching her grow on your blog. I think 8 or 9 like everyone else.
The first picture I think she pretty much looks her age but in the black and white I do think she looks older

I think she's about 7 or 8 and she's adorable. :) I don't think she looks like a teen, but I have a feeling that she talks more maturely than an 7 year old. :)

Gads....all of these kids look like teenagers now from about the age of 3. I say....let them be a child. But you can't hide the fact that she is absolutely adorable! :)
