Here are our old buddies, the M&M's guys. Don't know what they have to do with Christmas, except that we eat a lot more of them then.
The next two pictures show a house with a Santa hot air balloon taking a couple penguins for a ride.
Dinosaur. I don't have a clue.
Para sailing nerd? Your guess is as good as mine. But cute.
I just loved the look of this house.
This house draped strands of lights over their railing, such a pretty look!
And finally, the last three are one spectacular house. WOW, it may have been my favorite. I will show you in the order that we saw it as we were driving up to it.
“Let your light shine before
men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5

I miss the lights. When we used to go skiing in Colorado AFTER Christmas - I noticed the towns leave their lights up al winter! I love that! It doesn't make sense to do that here in Texas since it was 70 degrees today and winter isn't white but brown here!
What a fun post, Ginny, I love all the lights! :)
Christmas seems an eternity away now but the lights are lovely in your shots.
My favourite is the house with the lights. The lights are colourful and beautiful.
I love all of these. They are all so unique!! I love driving around each December and looking at the Christmas lights :)
wow, that last house is beautiful! must have taken a lot of work to put up then put down! i like the christmas dino, even though i don't know what he has to do with the season, but he's cute!
Such pretty pictures. I love the Santa hot air ballon and penguins. The penguins are adorable! And the house in the last three photos...wow, really spectacular!
you did a great job on the night shots.. 8 and 9 are my favorites, i like the cross to.. we don't go out at night so i have zero light shots.
My goal each day is to let my light shine in a way that others can see God through me. all of these homes seemed to really be enjoying the Christmas Season...good for them. I so enjoy seeing all the Christmas lights....Even though this is something we look forward to each year....I wouldn't mind if we had lights up all year round... guess it's the kid in me.
hugs to ya
I'm so impressed by the efforts some people go to with their holiday lights. Pretty amazing.
WOW, that last one is amazing. I can't imagine how much work went in to doing that.
I have never seen such odd Christmas decorations before! Oh, how I would love to know the story behind them. Specially the dinosaur.
Lots of colourful lights. I like looking at them, but think it is too much work to put up so many lights.
The lights are so pretty and the one makes a lovely header photo. Those people at the end go all out don't they? A lovely series of photos Ginny, thanks for sharing them.
Very fascinating lightings, Ginny... they really make an effort to beautify and decorate up the place, right....
Hi Ginny, Hands down - that beautiful Cross and that extra-chubby Santa Claus. Fun post. Have a lovely day tomorrow!
Lots of variety here! I do love the colours, which brighten up the darkest time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.
Oh, I miss all the beautiful Christmas lights already. I live in Pennsylvania and there are still a few decorated houses that I'm able to admire, but not many. Thanks for sharing the verse, I jotted it down in my little notebook so that I'd remember it. Blessings to you... :)
Wow! The house in your last pictures is amazing. I wonder what their electric bill is like?
You have a talent for taking night photos. great job!
I always love Christmas lights. I miss them when January is here.
