The Bells

There were a lot of bells out this Christmas, it was the year of bells. Here are a few of the ones in our neighborhood.

I put up a lot of bells around the house, too! Especially bells on all the doors;  they made such a pretty ringing when opened or closed! Here are just some of ours inside the house!

Christmas is forever, not for just one day.
For loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
Like bells and lights and tinsel in some box upon a shelf
The good you do for others is good you do yourself.

“The bells will be heard when he enters the Holy Place and comes into the presence of God,
and again when he comes out so that he won’t die.
Exodus 28

Sweet photos of all those pretty bells. They make gorgeous decorations. Lovely post Ginny. Thanks for visiting again. I was trying to think how to answer your question. I thought I would share this link.

I remember being told once that the rocks on Dartmoor were volcanic. There are also very deep bogs which are like quicksand.

I love bells and these are all great. I didn't see too many of them used around here but then I probably didn't look all that close either :)

You just reminded me about Christmas again - and the color red - two of my favorite things.

Your bells are very pretty. It must be very nice to hear them ring as you open/close doors. I especially love the white bells. They are very lovely!
