Transparent

I took these on April sixth. No, those bright colors are not edits. I believe they are just the heat from the sun.

“And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.”

Impressive! You have captured the sun beautifully Ginny. I noticed a few days ago how brilliantly bright the sun was and it seemed to me more than usual. Your photos are gorgeous!

Also meant to say it makes a fantastic header photo also :)

Gorgeous, gorgeous shots! I have a photo or two that anyone would swear I have edited, but they aren't. They aren't the true colors of when I took the photo, but they are what came out of the camera.

Then there are others that are the true colors, but just don't look real like these. It is so much fun to watch the sunsets. I cannot get good shots from here at home, have to get out somewhere away from trees, etc.

Ginny...these are so stunning! Dazzles the eyes.

Thanks for visiting today at I'd Rather B Birdin'. And, to answer your question, I've not seen a woodcock, so I can't compare the two birds' gait.

Is it still winter at your place, Ginny? It is February now and spring might be in the air? Nice and fiery sun shots taken, Ginny!

Dear Ginny, These photos are stunning. It is so nice to see the promise of the warmth of the sun.
It is very cold here. Lots of ice and low temps.. I suppose it makes us appreciate the promise of spring.
