The Littlest Graduate

What do we have here? This is our middle granddaughter Dara. Yesterday we went to  her graduation from pre-school. When I was a child, there was no pre-school, let alone graduation! But I think this little ceremony gives the child a real sense of accomplishment. Now on to kindergarten! Yes, they did have kindergarten when I was little!

There is always one child in a group who can't bear to look at the audience.

Getting her diploma

I sat with her little sister on my lap during the ceremony.

Us with the happy graduate. And so ended our morning. Full of yellow caps and good memories.

“You know your way around the faith. Now do what you’ve been taught. School’s out; quit studying the subject and start living it! And let your living spill over into thanksgiving.

Colossians 2:6

Congratulations to the young graduate. Off to kindergarten next year. Yeah!!
I don't remember there being preschool when I was little and we never had graduation ceremonies in kindergarten like they do now

Oh Ginny, what a darling little girl Dara is. I can see the good sense in having the graduation ceremony at such a tender age, judging by the look of happiness on her face, and what a wonderful header too. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your very sweet comments. i am so happy you are posting again as I truly did miss you my friend. Good to see you and Darla in that lovely photo and the one of her little sister also, what a cutie. Loved the one of you and your dear hubby and her too. Treasured mementos of a very special day. Welcome back :)
