I looked up in the sky, and saw this. I had forgotten that this is the Summer Solstice, the first day of summer!
It was just rising and peeping over the trees
It's unusual to have a full moon on the first day of summer. In fact, I don't think there has been one in 70 years. This June moon is called The Strawberry moon, for obvious reasons.
“He makes
the moon wax and wane,
putting it through its phases. He draws the horizon out over the ocean, sets a
boundary between light and darkness.”
Job 26

It is a wonder to me.. how you managed to capture all these beautiful shots of our God's creation... so far and yet it looks so near through your post! Keep on the good works, Ginny...!
Strawberry moon! So amazing and beautiful!
ours was so big last night it was shining in the bedroom windows and on the way to the YMCA yesterday and today it was hanging up there smiling at us... I only see AM moon from 4 am to daylight, never the night time
You have a wonderful eye and the talent of capturing that with the camera. Amazing.
I HAD READ ABOUT IT AND WAS GOING TO TRY AND SEE IT. HOWEVER, MY MIND DID NOT STAY ON IT LONE ENOUGH AND MISSED IT. YOU DID SUPER JOB ON CAPTURING IT.
