Not A Lobster Anymore.

Some of my followers may remember the Lobster Mailbox. Here is the picture of it that I posted many years ago.

Well, recently it has been remodeled and painted. It looks like this now.

And I learned that all these years, I have been wrong! It is not a lobster! This is the clue.

The raised stinger in the back! It is a scorpion, ewwww! Scorpion Mailbox. I guess I had been in denial.

“Don’t be afraid when living among them is like stepping on thorns or finding scorpions in your bed. Don’t be afraid of their mean words or their hard looks. They’re a bunch of rebels.”

Glad they painted it and it is very eye catching.

These are things we don't have over here, the postman puts the mail straight into everyone's letter box.

A poisonous mailbox! I hope the postman will be on the look out. He might be stung if he is not careful!

I remember this and did not notice the stinger then or now until I got to the bottom of your post and went back to see it. we see but don't see. I like lobster better than scorpion. but it is cute

I remember this cute lobster mailbox! How nice it got remodeled! But...finding out that it's a scorpion, the mailbox doesn't look so cute any more, haha :-)
