The Books

Isn't this a lovely library room?

This awesome old desk sits in there.

Well, guess what? There are NO books. It is wallpaper in a gift shop. Did I fool you?

This podium IS made of real books, and sits in a college art building.

“There’s no end to the publishing of books, and constant study wears you out so you’re no good for anything else. The last and final word is this: Fear God. Do what he tells you.”

Ecclesiastes 12

Yes, you did fool me. I never would have known that wasn't a real room. That podium is really cool.

yes, I was fooled, the first two look just like a real room. I love the podium idea. there are many books that will not longer be needed, like old school books and this is a great way to recycle them. I saw on HGTV someone made a lamp from stacked books.

LOL, yes you totally fooled me! This reminds me of Trick Art Museum I visited several years ago. The place had many pictures that looked like the real objects were there. Book podium is looking very nice :-)

That wallpaper looks very real. I have a young friend who would love a room done in it. She loves books.
