The Wind

Last Wednesday we had a wind storm. Here is some of the damage. It blew the roof completely off this building!

This last picture is from the web. A graveyard about 30 minutes away had many gravestones destroyed and broken. Yet in some places, even the flowers on the graves were untouched! The wind there was over 90 M.P.H., though it was not a tornado. Did you have any windstorms?

“God’s thunder sets the oak trees dancing A wild dance, whirling; the pelting rain strips their branches. We fall to our knees—we call out, “Glory!”

Psalm 29

Hi Ginny,
I am glad you are fine.
No, we did not have any wind storm. We did have some snow. We woke to 4 degrees this morning. I do think March came in like a lion.
I am glad you are fine.

Love, Carla

Oh wow. That was some wind storm. We have had a couple of days with very strong winds but nothing in comparison to this. I didn't hear of any damage and the only damage I saw was small branches in the road

That looks like it must have been a mini tornado, that poor tree and all those peoples graves, so awful.

My goodness, but that was a damaging storm!! I'm happy to read that you're okay tho. And hope that the weather tames down now.

PS...thanks so much for the you.tube song link this past week. I've not been home much for any online time this week and once again playing catch up with bloggin' buddies!

Thanks Ginny.

Good to know that you are safe. Reading your post reminds me of a freak windstorm years ago. There was rain and then a sudden strong wind came upon our area and roofs were damage, awnings were blown off and many trees fell. My next door neighbour's awning was blown off. Our house was spared from damage.

So glad you were not affected, but hate THE OTHERS NOT SO LUCKY. SOMETIME STRONG WINDS ARE WORSE THAN A STORM.You are the best at finding the proper words from our heavenly father.

Thankful you are safe. We had the strong wind and some hail but tornado damage 14 miles north of us. No damage here thankfully.

Those winds can do a lot of damage. We had a bad storm come through my town last summer and it left a lot of damage. Interesting how some things get hit and others remain untouched.

This makes me even more thankful that we did not get any damage...
