Snow On The Mountains

I took these pictures a few days ago. We do not live up in the mountains, we live at the base of them in a valley. We are bounded by the Blue Ridge on one side, and the Appalachian on the other side. This is the road we drive on to go to the grocery store. Snow is still on the mountains.

“As gold comes from the northern mountains, so a terrible beauty streams from God.”

Job 37

Such gorgeous sceneries! You live in such a beautiful and peaceful area. I can’t figure out what the things looking like big loaves of bread are. Greenhouse?

the last one is my favorite, those mountains are stunning. in the header shot, is that roads making the marks across the mountains or melted snow? i assume that the last one the white humps are protecting crops of some kind

Beautiful pictures. It is interesting how the dark lines of the trees seem to outline the mountains.
