Wise Old Owls

I saw this owl pillow and owl on a bench in a garden. I loved it.

A closer look revealed that the owl eyes are solar lights!

Someone attached this owl to their tree trunk.I think it looks like an angel owl.

These guys are just hanging out on a branch.

And someone put this owl on the side of their house.

Remember this poem from your childhood?

A wise old owl sat in an oak
The more he heard, the less he spoke;
The less he spoke, the more he heard;
Why aren't we all like that wise old bird?

Owl see you later!

All the Owls are lovely Ginny. The bull is NOT a mean bull, pretty laid back actually.

I love owls and have quite a few of them. That one that has solar light eyes is pretty cool and the one on the tree does look like an angel owl. Cute poem too although I don't recall ever hearing it before.

Ginny, I loved seeing all the owls. My daughter, Kathy, used to collect them when she was a teen. I also copied the poem for my sister. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I love that little poem! Wise words.

The angel owl looks to me a little...sad...scary...woo... :) Yikes!

Thanks for your comment. I had not heard the word either. Somehow I must have skimmed over it all this time, probably just rattled around in my head like some of those other bible names. But a few days ago it jumped out at me. I was delighted to learn the meaning. It made me feel watched over, taken care of, and protected. :)

Blessings,
Sandi

The owl on the tree does look like an angel.
