Art For Gifts

Between thanksgiving and Christmas eve, one of our local museums displays things made from many local artists. Jewelry, baskets, etc. People can come in and buy any of them; they make great one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts. I got a copper necklace for a friend. Lets shop around. These photos do not show the best things, as I was being watched by employees! Stealth is not my forte, as I am so clumsy!

Handmade boxes

Handmade bells

Purses

Stained glass Christmas trees

Bows

Handmade journals and books with surprises inside

This rooster is made from curled paper. You can see our reflection behind it. What would you buy?

Without art, the crudeness of reality would make the world unbearable.

A great place to window shop, but like you I would only want pictures, not the objects themselves. I love that quote!

Oh my. Such wonderful treasures. I like the one cat box. The bells are beautiful. I really like the look of the stained glass trees and the journals are rather interesting.

I would like the "Boho" style purses (bohemian) best of all.
Question is, did you buy something for YOURSELF?!!

they are all very pretty and created by talented artists and I would love to see them. the only thing I might buy would be a stained glass tree for the nook. I am sure the prices were above my purse strings

Ginny it never ceases to amaze me how talented some people are.

I love handmade gifts like this. Hubby and I used to do craft shows for weekends on end. I sold blankets that I made. So many of crafters bought from each other. Just a lot of fun. LOOOOVE the stained glass. Very cool. Cheers, Ivy.

Oh, I would have to go with that red and white striped Christmas tree. I have a thing for candy canes. ; ) The journals are really cool too. And the bells are delightful. Such creative and artistic people. I would love to browse in here. And that quote says it all.

Have a pleasant week, Ginny.

Hi,
I would have purchased a few of the bells for my family as gifts. They caught my eye right away. :-)
The bows are unique too.

I like the bells. I have 3 bells which I guess is a start of a collection. :)

Glass always gets me so I'd go for one of the glass Christmas trees! But I don't like being surveilled so I might just rebel and leave empty handed, haaaha! xoxo
