Just Peachy Saturday

I recently saw two really pretty, yet different peach colored plants. This peach rose bush is a couple blocks away.

I almost never see this kind of flower in this color, but it is so striking!!

A little friend flew by to be in the photo!

·       Peach represents warmth, comfort, and the freshness of spring.

·       It has historical significance relating to spirituality, immortality, and unity.

·       The color influences feelings of calmness and impacts communication and design.

In ancient China, the peach was seen as a powerful emblem within Taoist religion. Of particular significance was the peach tree of immortality, a legendary plant whose fruit was said to grant eternal life to those who consumed it.

Both are beautiful. Such a pretty color. I don't know that I've ever seen this color rose other than ones that come from a florist. I would love to have this bush in my yard. What is that second one? It kind of looks like some kind of lily.

I really like that color. Roses are so pretty but take some work to keep them looking good. Years ago I had many beautiful roses but I had a gardeners to take care of them.

Anything Peach is my favorite. Now I'm hungry for some peach ice cream..
Love the roses. They must be in the "Peace" family. the others look like they are in the lily family.

The peach rose represents "gratitude." I have mini roses in peach, which are finally start to bloom again this Spring. These are lovely pictures of the peach rose, Ginny. And that other flower bush has such an unusual color and is gorgeous. That last photo is very cool.
