What's Hot Today

We saw the coolest car passing us on the street. Phil remarked that it looked like it was heading for the park. So we followed it! Sure enough, it was there in the parking lot, and the owners had gotten out and left. This left me lots of time to snap it! Phil said it is a Hot Rod, or Street Rod.

I didn't notice until I was downloading the photos that the spider web on the grill has fake spiders on it! Do you see them?

I know nothing about the engine things.

Looks like an old fashioned farm style visor.

So ended my snapping adventure. The hood ornament had a ponytail scrunchie around it's neck!

“Hot rods are the epitome of American craftsmanship.

“Hot rods are like a time machine, taking you back to a simpler era.”

"Hot rods: where old-school cool meets modern performance.

P.S. - You figured out my mystery! The plants in my last post are indeed Milkweed. That would be why they planted so many all over the year; to attract bees and butterflies!

What a cool car. Glad you were able to get some pictures of it. I didn't notice the spiders on the front grill until you pointed it out.

Isn't milkweed a weed - I think I am highly allergic to it! lol

Oh my goodness - that car is so weird it is cool - I love it. Someone went to a lot of work to get it to look like that.

Now there's a vehicle that looks like it was put together by a committee, hahaha! Lots of stuff going on there. I don't know how they drive down the road without stopping traffic. xoxo

That looks like an old car! It's interesting with the spider web grill and the hood ornament. I'm surprised it still runs. But there are some people who are so knowledgeable with their cars.

**to answer your question.....I'm not sure if people swim in the lake that I visited. I imagine they could, as it looked pretty clean.

I love vintage car rallies. With Covid they all but stopped. I sure hope another one happens!

How neat to see something like this.....I'm sure it gets a lot of looks and the owner probably has invested a lot of time into making it look the way he wanted it to look
