Full Flower

This week is the Full flower moon. And I managed to get some shots of it just a few minutes after it rose.

“But even when the moon looks like it’s waning… it’s actually never changing shape. Don’t ever forget that.”

Beautiful shots of the moon as always. I'm curious now as to why it is the flower moon.

this struck my curiosity and I had to look up the flower moon. I read that the name comes from all of the flowers blooming in May. It was difficult to find on the web, because the movie "the killer of the flower moon" kept popping up. This photo is so good Ginny..

Great picture, I'm around too much light I think to see and appreciate the moon most nights. But, back in our younger years when we camped and were away from city lights I remember how spectacular it was.
