It has been years since I posted our house. It is a small ranch, but enough for the two of us. We recently had to get a new roof. I wanted blue, to match our shutters. Almost no one within a 50 mile radius has a blue roof!
The roofing company did not even sell blue shingles! They had to find them elsewhere. This seems very odd to me. Anyway, here you see the new roof. The wind spinner by the door was given to me by a friend many years ago.
Now I set about finding a flag to compliment the house colors. Could not find one that I liked in any store or even in Amazon! I finally came across one that I really liked, the only one left.
Who would ever have thought that blue roofs and flags are so hard to find?
Oops! Yes, I did leave the price tag on the flag!

we have houses of many colors, but I am pretty sure none of them have blue shingles. Your house looks beautiful with the blue roof and the new flag. our home is small also, perfect for 2 and a dog
You really did a great job in selecting the blue. I am surprised that the blue shingles were not available and that they had to be ordered. Your home looks so neat and clean and I honestly love the blue roof. goes perfect with the shutters....and the flag just adds that much more beauty.

I like the spinner your friend gave you, and the flag you found is cheerful with sunflowers; perfect for Summer. The edge of it with rainbow colors really adds something to the flag, and the blue flowers match your roof and shutters. I love those home quotes. Home is my favorite place to be. : )
