Glad All Over

The front yard of a nearby house is full of Gladiola!

My mother loved them and had them in her yard. Just like Jeans mother. these are beautiful.

They are so pretty. I remember having these along the one side of our house when I was growing up. They were always a top heavy flower and usually were laying down. It surprises me to see these all standing tall.

They are pretty! We had a neighbor about 20 years ago that was such a fan of glads, that her whole front yard was planted with them. They were pretty when blooming, but they rest of the year it looked rather strange. :) I always think of her when I see them.
