A Short July Drive

It is 4th of July week! These photos are just from driving around our neighborhood.

A homemade star.

A  patriotic car ribbon.

A flag of lights on someone's garage door.

A matching mailbox among other items.

A star with a blue bottle tree.

“On the 4th of July, we come together as a nation to prove that we can blow things up and still have all our fingers intact.”

Love that bottle tree, and the last house is beautiful.. good job on the star from wood. I have one 2 foot tall flag in a pot on the porch. Happy Canada Day to our Northern Neighbors

Your neighborhood has some very nice decorations out. I have always loved those buntings but I've never had any myself.

So many cute things to see around your neighborhood, Ginny. The houses are all decked out for the 4th. It's nice to see such enthusiasm with decorating their homes. The ones I really liked were the front porch with the brick house, the homemade star, and the entrance all lit up with the flag. I LOVE the ladybug house flag too.

Happy first day of July, Ginny!

The blue bottle tree is so interesting and creative. Do you have a lot of red white and blue decorations out in your yard? I have a few but nothing as elaborate as these homes. Happy July 1st

**I don't know what the purple wildflowers are, but they are at a neighbor's house, and they sure are pretty. They are growing wild, and there is a whole big bush of them. They seem to be the fullest in the beginning of summer.

Patriotism at its finest. All beautiful decorations, Ginny. I especially like that plain & simple star under the 621 house number. I may have to make one of those. *lol* ~Andrea xoxo

I haven't seen any decorations around our neighborhood. We just have families that always have their flags on display. Love seeing them though. Your area sure goes all out. Love that you show them to us.

I love anything in red, white, and blue. So pretty. I had a blue bottle tree once. Loved it - but couldn't take it with us when we moved.
