Circles Stitched By Loving Hands

 In the nearly 100-degree heat, in front of the cheese shop, sat an old man. In front of him were racks of homemade things, including these wreaths. 4th of July wreaths!


I only got two photos because the man was sitting right THERE. So I had to be sneaky. This one was my favorite, as it could be left up all spring and summer.


Wreath of the Fourth

Upon the door it proudly stands, A circle stitched by loving hands. With stripes of courage, stars of light, It whispers tales of freedom’s fight.

So let it hang in summer’s breeze, A pledge beneath the swaying trees. Not just décor, but something more— A silent cheer for what we’re for.
