Pardon The Weeds

This home is just a few blocks away. They have these signs in their rather unkempt looking yard.

They even have the sign on their porch chair.

I think this is so cool! Who is going to complain about their yard after reading this? No one! Some other weedy yards in our neighborhood.

This house has a yard full of Milkweed to attract Monarch Butterflies. This is the only plant they can lay their eggs on.

Hi dear Ginny, I love ❤️ your blog header photo. The quote is great and everything in your photos is beautiful.

The milkweed for Monarchs is especially brilliantnature wins, and the neighbors get a little lesson in kindness for pollinators.

By the way, its obviously Way better than a perfectly trimmed but lifeless lawn

Feeding the bees is a new one.

Maybe I should put one of those signs up in my yard. I like the idea of their sign and that they are feeding the bees. That yard with the milkweed is a pretty neat idea.

Very cute! And the bees are happy!

good morning Ginny. the red brick house looks like the people at least mow around the tall flowers or whatever the things are that are growing in the middle of the yard. Bees are so important and it looks like these people are doing their part to save the bees. 🐝

Weeds are here for a reason, Ginny, and what a great explanation your neighbors have given to all who pass by. Blessings!

I admire them for this Ginny, such a clever idea and what they say takes the sting out of an untidy garden :)

I read where the Bees are so important to this earth. It's nice they made signs for the front yard. That gazebo is charming. It looks like you have many neighbors appreciating nature. That's always a good thing.

YES, feed the bees!!! I have always had the eternal question....how did weeds be called "weeds" and why are they so undesirable?!! I love weeds! Much love, Andrea xoxo

I was WRONG!

O.K., for a long time I have been posting the pretty Tulip Poplar trees in our area. There are many. Well, turns out I was wrong! Apparentl...
