This is what we saw on a trip last week. We went over Afton Mountain to a hospital for a test. First, we came upon a wreck.
In the parking garage, we parked on level B. There is a different flower and color on each level.
Afterward, we stopped at home Goods. They had what looked like a bus crashing through the door.
They also had this. In early August
We saw these amazing trees with huge chunks of peeling bark. Maybe River Birch?
And back at home, I found this in our driveway! A sign of early fall?

Oh no on the accident. I hope no one was hurt. I can't remember where but I saw another parking garage painted similarly. Amanda and I went to At Home and they had all kinds of Halloween stuff out like that. Too early for me.
It's always unnerving to come across an accident on the road, Ginny. I always say a prayer for those who were involved. I did enjoy your photos, though, and maybe fall is on the way? Blessings!

Hope there were no injuries in the wreck. I do love the bark of the river birch.. My daughter has a huge river birch tree in her front yard and it is so pretty... Prayers Ginny that the test results are good.. And...I love how they have the parking garage marked...so bright and cheerful
An interesting day
Lots of interesting sights to see on your trip over the mountain. Wishing you great results on those tests. Hope those people were okay. What a great idea to paint different flowers on each floor. It certainly helps us to remember where we parked. Interesting displays in the store. The bark on the trees is very pretty, as was your leaf on the driveway. Simple pleasures truly can be the best. I see dog faces in those birch trees! Those are cool pictures. Home Goods is such a fun place to shop. I hope you show us if you brought home any goodies.
