The Watering Can

The giant watering can still stands in the city of Staunton. I was not able to identify it's flowers this year, as we had to drive past so fast.

I also passed these beautiful deep red Hibiscus.

Hi Ginny, what a beautiful sight to see. The Hibiscus 🌺 ♥️ flowers look like velvet. Gorgeous. Thank 😊 you so much for sharing, dear friend.

The hibiscus are beautiful. I looked up the watering can. Perplexity says, "The Watering Can thus stands out among Staunton’s many icons as a symbol of creativity, community engagement, and the welcoming character for which the town is known." It sounds like a great place!

Even in a blur, that giant watering can remains such a charming landmark

That is one giant watering can. You wouldn't need to refill with one that size.
