Looking around Dollar Tree today, I found these three things, each one dollar.
A little stuffed racoon, a stuffed mushroom, and a set of silver jingle bells.
The lady in front of us in the checkout must have had 100 things! Dozens of bottles of cleaners, and multiples of many other things. I have never seen a Dollar Store cart so overloaded. I had gone to the car and left Phil there. The clerk looked at him and the three little things and said "Honey, you don't owe me anything."!
So we got them free, thanks to an awfully overloaded cart in front of us and a cashier with a heart.
“Some things come free: a smile from
a stranger, a breeze on a hot day, and the joy of getting more than you asked
for.”

Awwww...Ginny, what a kind gesture from the cashier. They are lovely items. Thank 😊 you so much for sharing and I love ❤️ the quote. You just made my day with this post.
How nice of the cashier to do that. All three items are nice but that raccoon is adorable.
How sweet of that clerk, Ginny. Such cute finds, too.
Well, how nice was that? Very cute finds!
Oh, what a nice thing for her to do. I know what you mean, Ginny. When I go to Dollar General, sometimes peoples' carts are filled to the brim. Your little raccoon is so cute. And those silver bells will be nice around Christmastime. They are already starting to put out Christmas at Dollar General. It's so fun to browse. They have the cutest holiday stuff.
Have a restful weekend, Ginny.

What a sweetheart she was! Adorable raccoon and stuffed mushroom, and I bet those bells will be beautiful too.
Wow, that's truly awesome. "free" is so touching. Bless that clerk !
If I had seen that stuffed mushroom, it would have gone home with me too. I love it.
