Halloween Eve Part 1

We were all ready for the trick-or-treaters, and the family to come over.

I was trying to snap myself in the mirror while wearing my pumpkin shirt.

I had one little corner of the room decorated with haunted house things.

The gnomes in their glitter globe were ready.

The cat had come over to sit by the tree.

The squirrel was all settled down with a  nut.

And the fall M&M's were out along with some poppers.

Soon, the excitement would begin! Stay tuned for part 2!

"The shutters creak, the floorboards sigh,

A lantern flickers as you pass by.

The curtains dance with ghostly grace—

A haunted house wears time like lace."
