Quite a few of you knew the answer to yesterday's post! It is called a Rain Chain, which I had never heard of.
It guides water from the roof instead of a downspout. A decorative alternative to a downspout. This is the only one I have ever seen.
A
rain chain is a necklace the house wears for the weather.

I had never seen one either. ❤️
Me neither.
I have seen pictures of then in magazines but never actually seen one. A very clever and attractive idea.
I hadn't hear of one before I saw the one someone had on another blog. Otherwise I might not have known what it was.
This is a new one on me, Ginny. I had no idea!
I love the description of a necklace for the house!
I love it. My old neighbor had a rain chain made up of mini-bells that kind of dumped into each other (if that makes sense). Love it! Diana
Rain chains are popular here. My neighbor has one that are little copper watering cans. Really cute.
Oh my, I've never heard of a rain chain before. I think it's a prettier version of a downspout. Your quote is delightful too! Have a nice weekend, Ginny.
I did know what it was and think its such a cute idea. I have seen ones like Debby mentioned (watering cans)
Enjoy your weekend.

I consider this my thing I learned today - I have never heard of one or seen one. Awesome.
I also meant to say what a lovely header photo this made.
Oh how cool is that. I'd never heard of a rain chain before. Neato keano.
I have never heard of them before.
You always find such interesting things.
