I thought the color of these Iris was so pretty!
The Greek word îris literally translates to rainbow.
In Greek mythology, Iris was the goddess of the rainbow. She traveled on arcs of color, carrying messages on the wind — which is why the flower feels so airy and magical.
The doctor's office had this modernistic painting of Iris.
There was also this other painting beside it in the same style.

very unique in color.. I had some light purple irises bloom this year but my deep purple ones did not. 🤷♀️

The golden Iris' are pretty, and even prettier standing tall with the sunshine hitting them. I like that third photo a lot with the sun coming through. Iris is a popular flower in this time. They look like the flower of the fairies. : )
