As usual, here is my beginning of the month calendar page. This is the front of the new one
And the month of January
“January is the hush
after the holiday song.”
We went to Wal-Mart today just to look around for after Christmas sales. I figured they wouldn't be busy on New Year's Day, and they weren't. On the way there, the sky was unusual and beautiful.
And unless I show you, you would not believe this. They have shelves of EASTER things out!!!
They also had several scary monster stuffed animals. Go figure.
I liked this cute goose in a hoody!
This lady had some bling on New Year's Day. Her purse was covered with gems. But I noticed she still has the tags on it!
“It’s January. Why is

Happy 2026! I hope it will be a wonderful year for all of you! With lots of love, laughter, and good health. Here is my resolution.

yard like they own December.”
Here are some of the gifts I got for Christmas.
These are called Seed Pops. They are compressed seeds plus fertilizer. You stick the top one third in soil and keep it watered. One is wildflowers to attract birds, the other is for butterflies. When I first saw them, I almost ate one, thinking they were lollipops!
This is a framed painting I had been wanting.
“The best Christmas
gifts are wrapped in quiet kindness, not paper.”
This sunset is unusual. By the time I noticed the pink sky, it was too late to drive anywhere and snap it. So I stood by the back door. The tree you see is NOT a real tree. It is a reflection in the glass of a tree across the street.
“A tree
reflected in a window is nature borrowing a moment to look back at itself.”
Tonight's full moon is the Harvest Moon! I took these photos a couple days before the full moon. Good thing I did, because tonight it i...
