You may remember the goose in a neighbor's front yard that was dressed for Christmas. Well, to my horror, this week he is totally naked!
But a few blocks away, I happened to see another goose who was well dressed. I love the cap with the pom pom.
And he had a real live squirrel buddy! Why can't people dress squirrels like they do geese?
They also had nice porch furniture and a pretty painting on their window.

We were up on a hill when I noticed the trees under the mountains. They are grey bare trees. But the sunset made them look orange!
In fact, our Blue Ridge Mountains are really blue. But the sunset had made them orange as well!

Do you know there is an Advent Wreath? With candles. This one is in front of a church in our neighborhood. It is huge and splendid.

Quite a few churches and homes have very pretty wreaths out.

I was able to get a couple photos of the Full Wolf Moon. So named because this is when the wolves howl the most. They are not my best photos, plus it was a day or so before it was totally full. But I'll take what I can get.
Well, I have discovered the most amazing thing. A warm knit cap with a light on it!!! The light has about three different levels and is rechargeable. Here I am in the car.
I have awful trouble seeing when we happen to be out in the dark. So this is perfect. And it is so warm over my ears. Plus I love the fluffy pom pom. Just so you know, there are many styles and colors on Amazon, and the prices are good.

A couple weeks ago, I watched a show about the decorations at the White House this year. And of course I had to take photos. People from all over the country write to the white House to volunteer to decorate. And out of thousands, 150 are chosen.
There are 51 trees, with 2,000 light strands and 25,000 feet of ribbon.
Jackie Kennedy started having a theme for each Christmas with nutcrackers. This year was "Home Is Where The Heart Is". Melania designed these ornaments and AI made them. Each one has the name of a state and the state bird or flower.
I really liked this tree of butterflies. Over 1,000 visitors a day will walk through.
This room focuses on family games. They made castles from playing cards and dominoes.
The room also has portraits of George Washington and Donald Trump, all made from Legos.

And so it goes for 2025 Christmas at the White House.
