I tend to give houses pet names, according to what they look like and what kind of decor is outside.
I have named this one the Knick-Knack House. The reason is kind of apparent!
And they light up at night!

The first pumpkin stand of the season is open! This one is my favorite because of the wall of pumpkins.

So far, I have only seen two houses decorated for fall. Here is the first one. It has a cool flag and two wreaths.
The other house is ours. We have two flags outside. A small one by the road and a large one in front of the house. They are very bright so people can see them from the road.
The large one is a stained glass pumpkin.

At the end of our block, we spotted a few Black Vultures! They were eating something dead on the road. They have been circling around our area for a few years now. Did you know that their pee kills bacteria? So they do not get sick from standing in critters that have been dead for a long time.
They are actually calm, social, and affectionate!
