Nice chicken statue, huh?
Except that it's alive! A family a couple blocks away has about 50 chickens, and they are selling the eggs. Fresh laid every day. So we just HAD to go. When we got there, the chickens had escaped and were running in the road and flying up into trees!
Here is their sign in front of the house.
And here is Phil buying the eggs from the black fridge on the porch. With a nervous hen looking on.
Their mailbox is beautiful!
And their little tree had just started to bloom.
Here is the chicken's home out back.
This one came running up to us like a dog!
The black bunny was hanging out!
And these beehives were across the street!
Here is the black fridge.
And here are our eggs. They lay all different colors, I am waiting for the blue ones. I will be buying these from now on!!! YUM!
“Then he got really nervous and swore. “I don’t know the man!” Just then a rooster crowed. Peter remembered what Jesus had said: “Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” He went out and cried and cried and cried.”
