The Redbud & The Cross

As I sat in in the car in a parking lot, I happened to spy this in the distance. The Redbud here is just beginning to bloom.

This one is a few blocks away, and is the fullest one so far.

Nature, in all its wondrous glory,
Has produced much prettier things, for sure;
But, something within me moves each time
I feel the flowering redbud tree's allure.

Ginny, I was just thinking of and praying for you so I’m so happy to see this post! You are always looking on the bright side of life and are an inspiration and example of the kind of lady I want to be. Love you and hope you are getting stronger. Just what kind of parking lot were you in? At a doctor office, shopping center.....? Inquiring minds want to know! Remember that from that sensational magazine The Enquirer?

So pretty. Spring is such a wonderful time of year. As for those things growing in my yard that I posted yesterday, I don't know what they are. I'm pretty sure the second one was my daylilies but the first I have no idea.

Beautiful pictures. The cross looks lovely with the flowers, or is it the other way round? Either way,I like them.

Hi Ginny,Glad to see you back on the computer. Continued prayers for you.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Yes that is my oldest Granddaughter...3 years ago. She truly loves Disneyland.
I think the flowers are irises. They can be double and tripled petaled. Thought they were so frilly and pretty too.
