weekend update on Ginny

Hi, Phil here, and I'm posting an update from the hospital computer, written by Ginny:  Hi my friends. I can feel your thoughts and prayers, thank you so much. I have continued to be very sick, often sitting up for hours to throw up,  not being able to even read. They told me if I waited to go to the E.R. much later, I could have died. I am much better today, able to go down the hall with a walker, keep popsicles down, and my diet was just changed to soft-liquid. I'm still getting daily stomach injections to avoid clots in my legs. I had my first 1/4 cup of coffee a few minutes ago, and it was so good. I have already composed a top 10 hospital post for you when I return home. I may be in here for the weekend, though.    Love to all!!!

Oh Ginny - I feel so bad - I wish there was something more I could do - but I'm praying.

Take it slow and do what the doctors say -

Love and miss you.

If I were closer I would:

Bring you lots of M&M's.

Hook up a Mozart CD to all other wires in and around you because nothing cures like Mozart.

Find a good video to watch like .. I don't know .. The English Patient or something?

Bring in enough lilacs to completely fill your room.

Balloon and T-P your whole entire hospital room because I am an excellent T-Pier.

Yes. I would do all that. But sadly all I can do is yell across the cyberspace . . . GET BETTER SOON AND GET BACK HERE!

:))

Hi Ginny & Phil. I am still praying for you to get home quickly.... You must have been soooo sick, I feel so bad for you and I'm thinking of you often. I'm glad you are keeping some foods down now. How can you prevent this from happening again. It's funny how we become close to our bloggy friends :) That is a good thing !!!

I can wait to read your top 10 list!

I hope your next post will be from home!

Hi Ginny, Great that you are a bit better every day. I have had serious G.I. Tract illness in my past with a nine day hospital stay so I can relate a bit. Have a better day tomorrow and know you are being prayed for and so are your doctors.
