Fathers Day 2011

Today our family went to Cracker Barrel for Fathers Day.The first picture from left to right is: our granddaughter Anne Marie, son Mike, daughter-in-law Melissa, Me and Phil. Since Phil's birthday was just a few days ago, they brought bags full of both birthday and Father's Day presents, and Anne Marie helped him open them! A red T-shirt, tennis balls, this wooden box of puzzles, and a generous gift card to Starbucks!! A little of everything he loves! And as the last picture shows, it looks like the restaurant had Anne Marie's picture on all the glasses!

"My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in."  Proverbs 3:11,12

Happy Birthday to your hubby - and many more! Looks like a lot of fun, especially with the little one there! That box of puzzles could be so much fun - or so much frustration, lol! I'm not so good at those things! Enjoy and have a great week!

It looks like a wonderful Father's Day, Ginny!

Ours was a little sad. My husband and I miss our Dad's and both our children are now living far away and couldn't be here to celebrate with us. :(

We spent part of the day on a hike in the mountains.
