A Few days after I did my post on little Harley, you can imagine my surprise when I picked up the local newspaper to see THIS!! The paper had
stolen copied my blog post!! O.K., seriously, they did take their own pictures and a reporter wrote the story, so it's not exactly a legal matter yet, but I was the first one to break the story, ha ha!! So now here is the rest of the story. I know many of you were worried that Harley could fly off his owner's shoulder if he came to a quick stop. Not to worry. See in the picture, he is secured by a strong clip from his owner's collar to his harness, and has been completely checked out by an animal control officer, who then wanted his picture taken with Harley! Larry Groah is Harley's owner, and he rescued the seven pound Yorkie three years ago at birth. They have logged 3,000 miles since April. And with little Harleys's safety hook and the strong shoulder of his master, the roads are always smooth and never bumpy.
"A voice of one calling in the desert,
Prepare the way for the Lord,
Make straight paths for him.
Every valley shall be filled in,
every mountain and hill made low.
The crooked roads shall become straight,
the rough ways smooth.
And all mankind will see God's salvation." Luke 3:4,6

we will all be your witnesses they totally stole your story!!!! :O)
He is such a cute puppy! Blessings, Joanne
We read/saw it here first, Ginny!
Yup, I saw it here first! Thanks for the reassurance! Much appreciated! Such a cute little dog!
Well, you scooped them. We are all witnesses that the story was here first.
Harley is so cute, I just love those goggles. I thought that was some type of harness when I saw your photos the other day. I had a feeling this guy would not risk letting Harley get hurt.
may be you ask them to give you a jib as a free lance reporter.
I'll bet that made you do a double take! You had a front page story! Congrats on being the first to share it!!
I hope you get your cut!
I think your original story was way better, too ;-)
Hi Ginny, You are noticed and in a good way! That pup is soooo cute! Have a great day!
I still say this is such a funny picture... and a strange partnership... but it works!
That is too funny - your famous - in a weird sort of way - right? teehee
You are a tend setter :-) Their pictures are only bigger than yours, not better. We all know where we read it first. Have a great day, Ginny. Blessings...Mary
you have a ton of witnesses if you need us. LOL I love this story. so happy to see the harness thing, i worried about that when i saw your post. you are a good reporter. and i like YOUR photo better than theirs.
Loved reading this story, Ginny. As far as we are concerned we heard/read it here!!
Have a great day!!
Harley has made himself famous!! cool dog..
So, has the paper offered you a job yet? You obviously know how to scoop a story LOL
I agree with Lisa! Oh what a sweet companion..I figured he must of been secured.
Your photo shows such a charming scene, and cool that you got the story first.
Even if they did do the same story at least yours hit first :)
I was wondering about how he stayed up there so well. I was sure that the guy wouldn't ride around with the dog up there without him being protected. Looks like they make a great team
Harley is just precious...Glad to know that his owner has provided enough safety for him when they travel...
You might need to give that news paper office a little visit...Let them know who is tops when it comes to getting the news out!! lol
awww. how cute is this pup!!! and that's a great surprise to see in the paper....love this.
what a pair!
Maybe you should have been a journalist!
I like that verse in Luke, It reminds me of a verse in Isiah that I love as well. Such a cute little dog and who would have thought that the tough looking biker would have such a soft heart. Just goes to show that you don't judge a book by it's cover.
Hmm I think you should have a byline in the paper and a picture of you and your blog showing it first! Only fair, right? Right now, I so envy Little Harley, I am chomping at the bit for a road trip which won't happen anytime soon. The Lord willing we will do it in the Fall again. I used to ride dirt bikes on an island in Lake George in the Adirondack region of NY state....a long time ago. Never was or wanted to do the motorcycle. Thank you for the update on Little Harvey. We are all witnesses that we saw it on your blog first. Blessings.
