Those Who Cling

"Faith is putting all your eggs in God's basket, then counting your blessings before they hatch."
Ramona C. Carroll

As I promised, here is the answer to what these cute little hanging baskets are. They are bird feeders, though I have never seen any like them. Many of you suggested candle holders, which would be beautiful!! Anyway, these have lids which makes it hard for the squirrels to get into, and they are meant for clinging birds, not perching birds. The clinging birds will cling onto the wire as they pull the seeds out. Neat, huh? These were in the same yard as the beautiful crackled glass bird life savers, and bought at the same place. The yard of this house is quite something else, and tomorrow I will finally show you the whole house and yard!! Right now, I am clinging to wakefulness, so I'm off to bed, nighty-night!

"Because you are my help,
I sing in the shadow of your wings.
My soul clings to you;
your right hand upholds me."

Psalm 63:7,8

I love the way you had Phil go to the door to ask what the bird feeders were. That is so awesome that he would do that! He is amazing!!
I have never seen such pretty bird feeders. I also like the way you ask what they are before you tell us. I would have thought candle holders too!
Have a nice day my friend!

I wonder if they work for keeping squirrels...my daughter has this woven one that is supposedly for keeping squirrels out but I think they still get seed from it.

Can buy these to decorate our porch too! Nice..

That is a really unusual feeder, I've never seen on of those. It would be fun to see the squirrel's trying to get the seeds.

Can't wait to see this house and yard.

What a great idea - my "clingers" would love it. I must look at my bird store next time I go by.

Looks like someone there really loves feeding God's "gifts of to the sky". I like the hanging birdbath too.

Hi Ginny, the two words Durin, the place and durian the stinky fruit sound alike. Durian is found all over South East Asia. if you go to Singapore, you will smell it.
