In It's Time

I took all these pictures today, driving around and in the grocery store. Houses have fall decorations out, and the store is full of different candy corns and fall decorations and magazines. It's still only August! Time goes so fast, why rush it even more? I, for one, will be sad to see summer leave and the days get dark so early. But every season has it's beauty, and I love seeing them all.

"He has made everything beautiful in it's time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end."
Ecc.3:11

Seems rather early to be putting out the fall displays, but i guess it is just around the corner. For me the good thing about this is that it will not be as hot.

I dread seeing days get real short, but I LOVE autumn....it is my favorite season.

Our summer has been the hottest that I can remember so Fall will be very welcome here, but I haven't seen any such displays here except in the craft stores.

I do wonder why folks rush the seasons! The leaves are yellowing and falling already though. Your pictures are great - that scarecrow girl is so cute!

I haven't seen any Halloween decorations yet. I think it has just been too darned hot to think about Halloween.

Fall is my fav'rite season, so I enjoyed your photos. :)

We're still having record-breaking triple-digit temps at our house, so I'm ready for a fallish feel to the air!

Yes, to everything there is a season. Wouldn't it be boring if we didn't experience the changing seasons!

What a happy new banner you have ... haven't seen any fall decorations here yet although there are occasional spots where the leaves are beginning to turn.

Oh no, I feel stressed just by looking at those. I guess it may be time soon to exchange some of the summer flowers; but Halloween is not as big a holiday here as it is in the US.

Oh my goodness, they are really rushing things. We are still having ninety degree days! It will be at least another month before any color shows in the trees.

I'm just not ready for fall quite yet. Of course next thing you know the Christmas decorations will start showing up in the stores.

Even though I'm not ready I still love your photos Ginny.

Ginny, every year I look forward to all the fall decorations from colder climes. But I admit I was surprised to see these shots. Is it because summer's hotter this year that folks can't wait for fall?;)

Head on over to Hobby Lobby and pick up your Christmas "stuff". They started putting it out in July!! I can't wait to see how nature decorates in the fall down your way.

Best,
Bonnie

The lowly pumpkin is a sure sign that Fall is impending! I love the Beautiful pictures you took. A friend gave me four pumpkins this past Saturday...soon to be pumpkin pie!

I really dislike seeing the days getting shorter and the darkness coming so early, but the colors of Fall are so beautiful.
Of course, here in the central valley of California, we don't get the seasonal changes like you do.
As you said though; He makes everything beautiful in His time.

I only will be happy to see Fall as its been to hot here since May and DRY.

I do love the changes in the leaves and the weather.

Pumpkins out already? I need to get out more.

Wow - if we put fall decor out here like pumpkins, they'd be baked right there on the sidewalks. It's 116. I am probably going to be baked to death myself someday.

Me too, it's clear and sunny today. Autumun is one of my favorite Seasons but why push it? I'm sorry I've been sooo behind! I'm getting there though (lol). Your header is just beautiful!

I think the stores tend to get in too big a hurry on the seasons. It is not even September yet and Halloween already out. Time passes fast enough without that.

I can't wait to see those kind of things around here. Fall is my favorite season....I think it's because of the rich colors.

I've seen the fall and Halloween stuff in the stores but no one has started decorating houses yet. I hate it when they rush the seasons. I'm not ready to see summer go just yet either. Although summer is my favorite I do love fall for all the colors.

If we put a pumpkin out now, it would be a squishy mess in two days with our heat and humidity here in FL, lol. It does seem to be really early even for your area. Is it cool there already? You are right, there is beauty in every season. I for one, get very very homesick for the NE in Fall. My birthday is the end of this month and I always loved Sept and Fall best of all. NOT here in FL when the humidity is the worst most of the month if not all. However, I do love seeing pictures of Fall in other parts of the country, homesick or not! Thanks Ginny for sharing these.
Blessings,
Lynn
